Carol and I want to express our sincere condolences to Sara and Andrea. Bill was a long time friend and classmate. I cherish all the poker games we played starting in high school. So sorry we are out of town and can’t attend his services. There was only one Bill and he will always be in our thoughts.

Obituary for Robert Zumstein

Robert Zumstein 1954-2024

Robert Zumstein

07/22/1954 - 02/28/2024

Robert William Zumstein (Bill) of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024.

Bill was born to Robert and Nell Zumstein on July 22nd, 1954.  He grew up in Westerville, graduating from Westerville High School in 1972 as a scholar athlete.  He went on to attend The Ohio State University where he earned his bachelor’s as well as law degree. He later ran his own title company. Bill was a big sports fan, especially the Buckeyes.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his lovely wife, Tami (Buoni), and his son, Michael Hobbs. Bill loved and was extremely proud of both of his daughters, Sara Zumstein and Andrea Ignasiak. Although his grandkids (Finn and Layne Ignasiak) will remember him for his generosity with doughnut holes, the rest of his family and friends will remember him for his quick wit, funny stories, and sarcastic remarks.
